 Let me start off by giving you a little background.  My wife Milly and I own a small screenprinting and embroidery shop in sunny Phoenix Arizona. We have been in business for ourselves for the last eleven years with experience in the decorated apparel industry going back to 1987. We have run our shop successfully as a mom and pop team since we started it eleven years ago. Through the years we grew our business by working hard and giving a fair price for top quality work. We enjoyed several large accounts from a nationwide motorcycle injury law firm to one of the country’s largest television networks. Our business was doing well. Then the economy slowed down. One by one our bigger accounts scaled back and we were forced to find other ways to keep our doors open.  Enter MatchGrade Outfitters. My Father once told me to find something I loved to do, and I’d never work a day in my life. Since I am a firearms enthusiast and I love to create cool art, selling gun related t-shirts seemed to be a good way to help keep those doors open.

I picked the name MatchGrade because of what it represents to the shooter. Anyone who is actively involved with firearms or competition shooting knows that the term Match Grade signifies top quality. Top quality is what I want to be known for. The shirts you see here on this site are all 6.1 ounce, 100% cotton, the good stuff. We don’t use the thinner “promotional” weight tees that other companies offer. The printing method we use produces a soft hand feel that is barely noticeable while you are wearing it. Because our inks are water based, the design becomes PART of the fabric rather than just sitting on top of it. That way, the print will never crack, peel or wash off. In many cases each design is double printed to ensure a brilliant print that other companies just can’t “match.” We think of ourselves as the best. When you receive your shirts and feel them and wear them for the first time, we hope you agree.
